Nashoba Community Partnership for Children

The Nashoba Community Partnership for Children is funded through a grant provided by the MA Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) program. The grant was awarded to the Nashoba Regional School District to support the towns of Bolton, Lancaster, and Stow.

The Nashoba Community Partnership for Children provides comprehensive support for families and children from birth to 8 years old.  We provide educational programming, referrals to a broad range of service providers, and activities to support families. We strive to enhance family stabilization and optimal child development to promote school readiness and school success.  Our focus is to provide:

  • Child development information

  • Transition information and support

  • Family assistance

  • Timely support in periods of family crisis

  • Information on early education and care programs and referrals

  • Family literacy and school readiness

  • Family and community events

  • Parent leadership opportunities

  • Information about community resources that support you as your child's first teacher

ADVISORY COUNCIL:

We need parents/guardians, community members, educators, service providers, and agency leaders from our community towns of Lancaster, Bolton, and Stow to join our Advisory Council.

The purpose of the Council is to further the goals and objectives of the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) Program. The CFCE grant provides the funding that allows us to provide services to support families and children from birth to age 8.

We meet four times per year to connect and set goals with a focus on improving services for our families with young children. This is an opportunity to have an active and positive role in your community and in your child's education. New members are always welcome!

AGES AND STAGES QUESTIONNAIRES (ASQ):

ASQ Empowers Families As Their Child's First Teacher!

Did you know we offer free online Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) to help families learn about their child’s development from 1 month through age 5 1/2? ASQ is a set of questionnaires about child development that can help identify your child’s strengths as well as any areas where your child may need support. It can be completed at multiple intervals through age 5 1/2. As a parent or caregiver, you are the best source of information about your child. That’s why ASQ questionnaires are designed to be filled out by you. You will only need 10–15 minutes. There are 2 sets of questionnaires:

  • ASQ‐3 which looks at overall development in communication, physical ability, fine motor, social and problem-solving skills

  • ASQ:SE-2 which looks more closely at social and emotional development.

This is a free tool for families. You are welcome to complete just one or both. We will contact you after you complete the questionnaire. If your child’s development is on target, then there is nothing more you need to do. If there are concerns, we will help you with the next steps: Questionnaire Link
