Substitute Teaching

Daily Rate
Our daily substitute rate is $120.00 per day. The daily rate increases to $150 per day for the remainder of the school year once a substitute has worked for 60 days in the school year.
Qualifications
NRSD requires all substitutes to have at least 2 years of college. To be considered for a sub position of 8+ weeks, applicants must be certified teachers.

Life Threatening Allergy Requirement
All substitutes are required to view a video on Life Threatening Allergies. Please use this link.
Go to the “School Staff Training Module” and view the 35 minute long video. After completing the video, please take the “School Staff Quiz”. Download your certificate of completion and send it to Human Resources for your file.
